American novelist James A. Michener described Marigot Bay as the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean and I can see on this postcard why he did. It is located just south of the St. Lucian capital Castries, surrounded on three sides by steep, forested hills. Marigot Bay is considered a historic landmark as quite a few battles between the French and British navies were fought here.
This beautiful postcards is already a few years old, but still one of the most beautiful I have in my collection. It was sent by Ralph and Doris Baumann, thank you !!!
