Treasure

One of the oldest postcards in my collection. It probably shows a floral clock in some park in Bonn - Bad Godesberg, Germany. It was sent to my late grandmother back when she was not yet married, on the 13th of August 1934. I am really happy and proud to have this treasure.

Another Treasure - Falkland Islands

Empty Mailbox today, but Mondays is always slow here in Germany. So I guess I should show you another of my treasures :) The scan is a bit bad unfortunately. It shows The Settlement at New Island, home of Tony and Annie Charter. Beyond you can see the hills of Weddel and Beaver Islands

A Treasure

This card was given to me by a friend a few years ago. The postmark says February 5, 1907, which makes is more than 100 years old. I could not read it, as it is a very old form of German. Had to have it translated. It is a real treasure in my collection !!!
