Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth, Germany (UNESCO)

The Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth is an outstanding example of the Baroque festival culture and was inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2012. It was built according to plans of the French architect Joseph Saint-Pierre between 1744 and 1748. The interior was designed by the leading theatre architect of the time, Giuseppe Galli Bibiena from Italy.
