The Ben Franklin Bridge crosses the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Camden. The suspension bridge was originally named Delaware River Bridge. Construction was completed on July 1, 1926 and at that time held the title of the world's longest suspension bridge span with 533 meters (1750ft).
