The
Bonneville Salt Flats are located west of the Great Salt Lake, at the border between Utah and Nevada. It stretches over 100 square kilometers. It looks like a frozen lake, or a sea of snow, but it actually is a thick crust of salty soil. The area is completely barren, so that no life exists.
This beautiful postcard was sent by Jeannette Snyder O'Neil, thank you very much !!!!
