This postcard I sent myself when visiting
Maastricht, Belgium. It shows the "Twin Churches" Saint John and Saint Servatius. On the left, with a distinctive red limestone tower, is Saint John's Church , the main protestant church of the city. The romanesque Basilica of Saint Servations is a place of pilgrimmage as the remains of the Saint are entomed in the crypt.
The city has 1677 buildings and monuments under protection as national heritage sites.
