Sao Paulo, Brazil

Absolutely gorgeous view of the Sao Paulo See Metropolitan Cathedral. Construction began in 1913 and it was finally consecrated in 1954.
I can't read the full name of the sender,  the last name is Costa.

Seattle, Washington, USA

Seattle is a major coastal seaport in Washington. The area has been inhabited by native Americans since over 4000 years before the first white settlers arrived in 1851. The first major industry of the city was logging,  but during the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 19th century it became the gateway to Alaska as a commercial and shipbuilding center.
This beautiful card was sent by Nita for the WiP October Lottery.

Houston, Texas

Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin, Germany

Charlottenburg Palace was built at the end of the 17th century and is the largest palace in Berlin, Germany. It is the only surviving royal residence in the city of the Hohenzollern Family. It was badly damaged in World War II but has been reconstructed and now is a major tourist attraction in our captial city.  The original palace was commissioned by Sophie Charlotte (hence the name of the palace), the wife of Friedrich III, Elector of Brandenburg.
This wonderful card was sent by Sabine for the Postcrossing Faves Tag

Chengdu City, China

Great view of the Skyline of Chengdu City in south-west China, capital city of the Sichuan Province. Archeological excavations prove that the area of Chengdu has been inhabited for at least 4000 years. Chengdu is the only major city in China to have remained in the same location with the same name for more than 2000 years.
This card was sent to me by Zhong Wenhua for the WiP Bird's Eye View Swap.

Mallorca, Spain

Lots of great images of the Balearic Island Mallorca in the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular holiday destination for European tourists.
The card was given to me by Mrs. Anne Löffler who received it from friends.

Miltenberg, Bavaria, Germany

This card I sent myself when visiting Miltenberg. A really fascinating town in the north of Bavaria, like a relict of times long gone. With numerous awesome half-timbered houses and buildings,  this place seems to "breathe" history. We had an icecream on market square and enjoyed the same view as seen on the card :)
