The
Common Coqui is named for the sounds the male frogs make. The "Co" is meant to drive enemies away and the "Qui" sound attracts the females of his species. The frogs are rather tiny, the males average up to 34mm while the femails grow to an average of 41 mm. 'They are native to Puerto Rico.
