Mariposa Grove is located in the southernmost part of Yosemite National Park. It is the largest grove of Giant Sequoia in the Park with several hundred mature examples of the tree. The Sequoia tree named "Grizzly Giant" is probably between 1600-2000 years old and is the oldest tree in the grove.
