Basilica San Marco, Venice, Italy (UNESCO)

Great evening view of the beautiful Basilica of San Marco in Venice, Italy, sent by  Edo for the Postcrossing favourites tag.
I've seen that basilica myself some years ago and it is absolutely breathtaking. Venice and its lagoon were inscribed into the UNESCO list in 1987.
