Bielefeld is a city in North-Rhine Westfalia, Germany. It was founded in 1215 by Count Herman IV of Ravensberg and thus has quite a few historic buildings of great value. In 1851 the Bozi brothers constructed here the first large mechanized spinning mill. The city's main sight is the Sparrenburg, The castle was built between 1240 and 1250 by Count Ludwig of Ravensberg.
