Cordoba, Spain

View of one of the wonderful streets in Cordoba, Spain with the tower of the Mezquita in the background. Cordoba once used to be the most populated city in the world (10th century).  It was under Iberian and Roman rule in ancient times, and in the Middle Ages even became an islamic Caliphate.
