Puerto Mogán, Gran Canaria, Spain

I sent this card myself when visiting Gran Canaria during our trans atlantic cruise.

Undredal, Norway

Undredal is a popular tourist destination and is located at the Aurlandsfjord. Until 1988 it could only be reached by boat. There are only about 100 inhabitants and about 500 goats. The village is famous for the brown goat cheese which is still traditionally made. It also has the smallest stave church in Northern Europe.
This nice card was given to me by Ursula Schwarz who received it from friends.

Really nice Australia postcard coming my way via Hong Kong, sent for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag by Adelaide.

Goedereede Tower / Lighthouse, Netherlands

The Tower of Goedreede in the Netherlands was originally part of the city's parish church. It was built in 1512. From 1552 til 1912 though, it served as a lighthouse. The once prosperous harbour town went into a decline over the centuries as other ports and harbours were more attractive. The town could no longer support the huge  churchbuilding and it went into decline and had to be pulled down eventually. Only the tower remained. It was restored and is now in use as a museum.
This interesting card was sent by Barbara and Elmar Knieps and is a more than welcome addition to my lighthouse collection.
