St. James' Park, Newcastle, UK



St. James' Park is the home of Newcastle United Football Club. The oldest and largest football stadium in the North East with a spectator capacity of 52,409 people. Occupied by the Toon Army, it has been the home of Newcastle United since 1892. My thanks for this wonderful postcard go to Yvonne McCaffrey who sent it for the WiP Something Wet Swap.

Pat Schultz sent me this lovely postcard from New Mexico for the WiP Letter N swap. New Mexico is nicknamed Land of Enchantment and was the 47th state to join the USA

Gorgeous nightview of the New York, New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was opened in 1997. The card was sent by Susan Pierce for the WiP Letter N Swap.

Gotland Map, Sweden



A great new addition for my map collection! This card, sent by Annette Högberg was sent for the WiP September General swap and shows the Island of Gotland. It is not only the biggest island of Sweden, but also the biggest in the Baltic Sea.

Bodie Island Light, North Carolina


Bodie Island Lighthouse was built in 1872 and is located on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It is currently closed to the public due to restoration works. The beautiful postcard was sent by Rose Davenport for the WiP September General swap.

Barn in Utah



Ruth Smith sent me this beautiful autumn card of a barn in Utah for the WiP I spy a Tree swap. The Barn is close to Park City, which mainly known here for excellent Ski resorts and of course the 2002 Oylimpic Winter Games
