The postcard, sent by Misty Martinez, shows the Federal Hill Mansion. It was built by Senator John Rowan in 1795. It is believed that the senator's cousin, songwriter Stephen Foster was inspired by a visit to Federal Hill to write the song My old Kentucky home, which was later designated the state song of Kentucky.
