Khao Yai National Park, Thailand (UNESCO)

Wonderful sunset card from my postcard buddy Rod Eime. Without him my collection and especially my UNESCO collection would be a lot smaller and less exotic !!!
This time I received a sunset from Khao Yai National Park in Thailand which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site  Dong Phayayen Kaho Yai Forest Complex inscribed in 2005

Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand

Koh Samui is an island in Thailand attracting about 1.5 million tourists per year with its rich nature and awesome white sandy beaches. It was first inhibited by fishermen from the Malay peninsula and appears on Chinese maps dating back to 1687. I wouldn't mind spending a few weeks there to relax and soak up some sun during the cold European wintertime :)
The card was sent by friends of my daughter and is a welcome addtion to my collection.

Ayutthaya (UNESCO), Thailand - May 11, 2010

What a wonderful card ! I love the colours. Ayutthaya is on the UNESCO List, inscribed in 1991, and used to be the capital of Siam. In the 18th century it was destroyed by the Burmese.
Charlie (Cherokee) sent me this card for the Postcrossing Fast Favourites Tag.

What a great day for my mailbox, all the cards were awesome !!! Thanks to all the senders :)
