Pannonhalma Archabbey, Interior View, Hungary (UNESCO)

Beautiful interior view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Pannonhalma Archabbey in Hungary. It is the country's oldest historical monument, founded in 996 by Prince Geza and the first Benedictine monastery in Hungary.  After the abbey in Monte Cassino, Pannonhalma is the second largest Abbey in the world. It was inscribed into the UNESCO list in 1996.
This postcard was sent by Edina (apoletta) for a Postcrossing Round Robin.
