U.S.S. Constitution, Boston, Masschusetts, USA

The heavy three mast fregate was named by President George Washington after the Constituion of the United States. She became famous in the War of 1812 against the United Kingdom when she defeated 5 battle ships. One of those battles gave her the nickname "Old Ironsides".
This great postcard I received for a Postcrossing Round Robin.
