Great postcard sent by my parents from their trip to Saxony. The earliest written record of a castle in this place dates back to the year 1233. The fortress Königstein, also called Saxon Bastille is one of the biggest hilltop fortifications in Euroe with about 50 buildings inside the mighty protective walls.
