Macquarie Lighthouse, Sydney, Australia

Macquarie Lighthouse  is  the first and longest serving lighthouse site in Australia. There was a navigational aid close by to the current lighthouse since 1791.  The first lighthouse was built in 1818. The current one, which is still fully operational and in service was built in 1883.
Cathy Ryan sent me this beautiful new addition for my lighthouse collection for the WiP September General Swap.
