This postcard showing the Papal Portal in Kevelaer, Germany I sent myself when visiting the town. Kevelaer is a famous German place of pilgrimage with about 800.000 people coming to pray to the Virgin Mary. The Papal Portal commemorates the visit of Pope John Paul II in 1987.
