Rohtas Fort, Jhelum, Pakistan (UNESCO)
A great UNESCO World Heritage Card showing Rohtas Fort in Pakistan, inscribed in 1997. It has naver been taken by storm and has survived the centuries almost completely intact. The monumental walls have bastions and mighty gates and are about 4 km long. It is an exceptional example of muslim military architecture.
The card was sent for a UNESO Round Robin on Postcrossing by Karen. Unfortunately it was sent from Finland instead of the country of origin, but I was happy with it nonetheless :)
