Old State House, Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Love the contrast between old and modern in this card, sent by Bonnie Jeanne Tibbetts for a Yahoo Groups swap.
The Old State House is one of the oldest if not the oldest building in Boston. It was built in 1713 and remained the seat of the colony government until 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed from the east side balcony. The building then became the seat of the state government until 1798.
