Humming Birds

Beautiful postcard showing colourful hummingbirds coming from Susan Pierce for the WiP November General Swap.
Hummingbirds are among the smallest birds species. The smallest bird is actually the bee hummingbird that will grow to only 5 cm. They feed on nectar and their name comes from the humming sound the fast beating of their wings, 12-80 times per second depending on the species.
