The historic Spanish Catholic San Xavier del Bac Mission in Tucson, Arizona. The misson was founded in 1692, the present building, also called the "White Dove of the Desert" was built in 1783 and is located in the center of a Papago Indian settlement along the banks of the Santa Cruz River.
