Wonderful postcard sent by Cindy Fields for the WiP Letter W swap.
It shows the Williamsburg Fife and Drum Corps in its historic uniforms. Founded in 1958, the corps carries forward the tradtion of military music as performed during the 18th century. Back then it were boys between the age of 11 and 18, nowadays girls are also allowed to join the corps.
