Cappadocia, Turkey (UNESCO)

Cappadocia is an area in eastern Anatolia, in the center of Turkey. A spectacular landscape formed by erosion with temples and habitats cut into the rock. There are several underground cities used by early Christians as hiding places.
Cappadocia was inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985.
This great card was sent by Nihan Irmak for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag.
