Centennial Hall, Wroclaw, Poland (UNESCO)



Great bird eye view of the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw, Poland, inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2006 as an early landmark of reinforced concrete architecture. It was constructed in 1911-1913 after the plans of architect Max Berg. It was named for the 100th anniversary of the defeat of the French troops under Napoleon at the Battle of Leipzig when the people rose up against the French occupation.
