Palisade Head, Lake Superior, Minnesota

The rock formation Palisade Head is found on the north shore of Lake Superior in the Tettegouche State Park. It was formed by rhyolitic lava about 1.1 billion years ago. I am scared to death by great heights, so I guess I would not get close the abyss and just admire the view from afar LOL
This card was sent by Ruth Smith for the WiP November General Swap.
