This awesome postcard with the special rubber stamp came from my postcard pal Rod Eime. During one of his travels he visitied the Mauna Kea Observatories on Hawaii. The observatories are astronomical research facilities. Their isolated location in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is ideal for ground based astronomy. In total there are 12 telescopes.
