Battle Creek in Michigan, USA is home for the world's largest sculpture honoring the thousands of southern slaves and fugitives. Sojourner Truth was born as a slave in 1797. Speaking out for justice and human rights and the abolition of slavery, she became the most famous African-American woman in the 19th century.
