Altai girls playing the Jew's Harp

Traditionally dressed girls playing the komus (Jew's Harp). The Jew's harp is believed to be one of the oldest musical instruments. A drawing in China where a person is using this instrument dates back to the 4th century. Despite its name, the Jew's harp is not connected in any way to the Jewish people. The card was sent by Kate (siguanea) for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag.
