Mikhailovsky Castle. Saint Petersburg (UNESCO)

Mikhailovsky Castle is a royal residence in the historic center of Saint Petersburg. It was built for Emperor Paul I in 1797-1801 and now houses a branch of the Russian Museum featuring the portrait gallery. The postcard was sent by Yana (botwa) for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag.
