A great postcard sent to me by Denise (Hickreenut) for the Postcrossing Favourites tag. Virginia saw the first major land battle of the Civil War at Mannassas at July 21, 1861. Of the war's thousand battles, skirmishes and engagements, 60 percent were fought in Virginia.
