The first card to come out of my mailbox was this Brownbear card. I tagged Katja (maggiolina) on Postcrossing for this one. The story behind this, why I wanted this card so bad, is that some years ago, we had a bownbear on German soil for the first time in nearly 200 years. It was quite a spectacular thing, and the press here named him Bruno. I know L'orso bruno just means Brownbear in translation, but for me it made the connection to Bruno the Bear :) The story had a sad ending.
