Svetlogorsk, Russia

This great card I received from Kate (siguanea) for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag. Svetlogorsk is a coastal resort town at the Baltic Sea. The building on the postcard is the old watertower, built in 1912 and is now in use as a Sanatorium building.

Xumi Fushou Temple, Chengde, China (UNESCO)

Jery sent me this awesome postcard for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag. It shows Xumi Fushou Temple in Chengde and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site -Mountain Resort and its Outlying Temples - inscribed in 1994. The Mountain Resort is the Quin Dynasty's summer palace in Hebei province and was built in the 18th century. Xumi Fushou is the temple of Happiness and Longevity and is one of the Eight Outer Temples.

Hollywood

Hollywood, the name of this places still holds some magic for most people who like movies and filmstars. I'd certainly love to pay it a visit one day :) Donna sent me this beautiful multiview for the WiP September Lottery.

Ketrzyn, Poland

Ketrzyn is a town located in north eastern Poland and was founded in 1329, city rights were given to the town in 1357. The card was sent by Wanda for the WiP December General Swap.

Russian Empire Map Card

Great map card of the Russian Empire sent by Tanya (coralfish) for the Postcrossing Favourites Tag. The Russian Empire was proclaimed by Peter I in 1721 and lasted till the Russian Revolution of 1917.
