Common Loon
The Common Loon is the state bird of Minnesota. Great card from Ruth Smith for the WiP May General Swap. She writes that a pair of loons are nesting close to her home. That would be so exciting to watch!
Ohio Presidents
Another of the postcards I favourited on Flickr. Naomi sent it for the Favourites Tag via Postcrossing. Ohio calls itself the "Mother of Presidents" for the 8 presidents who called this state their home.
Fort Worth, Florida
Lake Worth in Florida, what a beautiful beach! Amanda Hakkarainen sent it my way for the WiP April General Swap. Great place to spend a perfect beach day. Wish I could come ....
Mount Fuji, Japan
I already have a good deal of Mount Fuji cards and I never tire to look at this wonderful mountain. I just had to have this card too, isn't it just great? I love the reflection in the water of Lake Kawaguchi and the nice bluish colours! Mapache sent it to me for the Postcrossing Fast Favourites Tag.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
Two Atatürk cards in one day :) This one is an awesome one too. It came here for the Postcrossing Fast Favourites Tag and was sent by Nihan
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
This postcard showing Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, came here from Turkey as an official Postcrossing card (TR-60946). Loved it!
Alcázar de Toledo, Spain
This wonderful postcard arrived here from Emilio Fernandez Esteban, a stamp collector from Spain. It shows the Alcázar in Toledo, a UNESCO site.

Stena Scandinavica
This great ship postcard came from Annette, a new member in our World in Postcards group. It shows the Stena Scandinavica. A new ship for my collection, thanks so much!
Lord of the Rings - Return of the King
I was so happy to get this card! Ineke from the Netherlands sent it as an official Postcrossing card NL-645518. I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, so all the Lotr cards are very welcome here!
US Coast Guard Training Barque "Eagle"
An older card showing the training barque Eagle of the US Coast Guard. It came from Phoenix, Arizona and didn't carry a Postcrossing ID or anything. The first name of the sender is Rick, I hope I can somehow find out who sent this card so I can register it.
